Printing on Brown Kraft

White ink masking allows you to choose if colors should print vibrantly or blend naturally with the brown kraft stock.

White Mask File: Create your mask file at the same size as your artwork to prevent alignment issues.
File Format: White masks must be vector-based and saved as EPS or PDF.
Mask Usage: Black areas in the white mask indicate where white ink will be printed. Please be aware that anything less than 100% will be transparent and allow the brown stock to show through.
Separate File: White mask files are submitted separately from artwork files, similar to Spot UV masks. Use vector paths/shapes to create black color areas that indicate where the white ink base will go. The rest of the areas will show the Brown Kraft stock.

When creating a White Mask, remember the following:
• White ink base is printed behind any color in your artwork layer
• Color without a white mask prints directly onto the kraft stock
• Color with a white mask prints as solid, opaque color
• White mask with no color prints as white ink
