Design Guidelines - 16 PT + Lamination & Spot UV

Please submit two separate PDF files:

1. Regular full-color artwork

2. Spot UV template indicating the areas to receive Spot UV

Spot UV Template Guidelines:

• Indicate Spot UV areas using 100% K (black).

• Non-UV areas must be white.

• For best results, submit the Spot UV file as vector artwork.

If you require full UV coverage on one side, the corresponding page in the Spot UV template must be completely filled with 100% K.

For 4/4 printing with Spot UV on only one side, ensure that page 1 of the artwork is the Spot UV side.

Spot UV Accuracy:

• Exact positioning of Spot UV cannot be 100% guaranteed.

• A shift of up to approximately 1/16" may occur during production.

• We do not recommend applying Spot UV to small text or very fine details, as minor shifts may affect alignment.

• Finished Size: 3.5 × 2 in – final size after cutting

• Bleed Size: Extend backgrounds or images 0.125 in beyond each edge (3.75 × 2.25 in total) to prevent white borders

• Safe Zone: Keep all text, logos, and important design elements at least 0.125 in inside the trim line (3.25 × 1.75 in) to ensure nothing is cut off

Tip: Designing with bleed and safe zone in mind ensures your cards look perfect after printing.
